Scientific Colloquium: call for papers (english text)
The seventh edition of the Scientific Colloquium on Social Enterprise will be held on June 7 – 8 2013 at the University of Torino. The Colloquium is organized by Iris Network, in collaboration with the “Social enterprise Committee – The Torino Chamber of commerce Civil Economy Observatory” and the University of Torino.
Social enterprises play an increasingly important role in terms of national and international development, ensuring the production of goods and the supply of a wide set of general-interest services that affect positively on economic systems and social networks. The Colloquium aims therefore at creating a discussion forum with scholars and researchers focusing on the main themes that characterize the evolution of this entrepreneurial model and its peculiar contextual features.
The organizers welcome theoretical and empirical contributions that are focused on topics related to the nature and functioning of social enterprises and that emphasize innovation and supporting policies.
